LINDER INDUSTRIAL MACHINERY COMPANY IS THE NEW NAME FOR MITCHELL DISTRIBUTING COMPANY LOCATIONS

Komatsu Distributor Now Has Eighteen Offices in the Southeast U.S.

Plant City, FL (June 1, 2005)-- Linder Industrial Machinery Company announced today that it is changing the names of its locations in North Carolina and South Carolina from Mitchell Distributing Company to the Linder company name. A Komatsu distributor of construction, mining and utility equipment, Linder had acquired the Mitchell operations in 2003, and the name change is the final step in merging the two companies.

"The employees recently voted to switch the name to Linder at all the Mitchell locations," noted Jeff Cox, president of Linder Industrial Machinery Company. "It's been two years since the company was acquired, and everyone is comfortable with the name change by now. We've built our businesses by offering reliable equipment and providing responsive service, which will never change. The only difference is that the signs over the doors will now read Linder."

The offices that will be affected include five in North Carolina, located in Asheville, Charlotte, Greensboro, Raleigh and Wilmington, and five in South Carolina, at Conway, North Charleston, Greenville, Ridgeland, and Columbia. Each branch will continue to sell a full line of off-road equipment that includes the following brands: Komatsu, Atlas Copco, Blaw Knox, Esco, Etnyre, Genesis, Hensley, Ingersoll Rand, JRB, Pemberton, Rockland and Tramac. Each location will also continue to offer parts and service support for its equipment. All offices carry new and used equipment and offer rental and leasing services.
